Of the Polo kind -

Rinse off and good clean of the wheels with acid free wheel cleaner, snow foam, rinse, wash with a brand new mit, 2 buckets and Meguiars nxt car wash, rinse down and then dried using 2 new big microfibre towels and Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer as a drying aid (never used it like that before but Svend always uses quick detailer as a drying aid and I must say it really helped so will be doing so from now on, thanks Svend!).

Just gave the interior a quick once over, wasn’t really dirty apart from some dust and finger prints on the dash and the drivers mat was a bit  dirty.

She looks fantastic, loving the blue metallic.

Using QD or even a standalone sealant such as CarPro Reload, Gtechniq C2v3, Gyeon Cure, etc... as a drying aid, greatly help drying, water spots topping up protection, etc... next time. You shouldn't really need more than one towel. Wash, rinse, then run an open end hose over the car, the water will gather other sitting water on the car. You may even get it down to just two regular size cloths, spray three squires on a folded cloth, run over panel, use second cloth to buff.

Yeah it really pops in the sun! I used one cloth to dry and the other to buff, I misted the detailer over the wet panels, dried and then buffed, seemed to work ok. Will try the way you suggested next time. TBH though it still needs a full decontamination, light polish and ceramic sealer applying but that can wait.
